Wow, your Christmas cactus is so beautiful and lush. Mine just dropped all it's flowers and sits there looking like it's waiting for something to happen. LOL It has taken the place of a Christmas tree this year because when you get old and have no children around to decorate for it is what you do and I am happy with that. Thanks for sharing your wonderful photo. Blessings to you.
Carol, thank you! The plant always surprises us - for months it's dormant with no signs of blooming and then suddenly it's full of buds and flowers :) . Thanks for your words of encouragement throughout the year! I appreciate it very much.
Padmaja, yes it is epiphytic cactus native to S. American jungles. They bloom around Christmas season of the year and hence the name :) I it gives color when everything is grey and cold here ! Thank you very much for your comments alwYs and wish you a very creative 2014 too.
