From A Spider's Web

The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider's web.

Wow I love those photos AND the quote! I do sometimes feel as though I'm the receptacle that must translate and convey something important. The spider spinning its delicate intricate web is a perfect metaphor for an artist conveying the fragile beauty in the world.

Hi Meera, what interesting creatures spiders are. In the autumn we often see spider webs strung between the power lines that line the roadside. It's like all of a sudden overnight they all decide to do it. It's really rather creepy. LOL

Each time when I see a spider's web I dont want to clean it up, it is so artistically woven. Your shots are truly phenomenal Meera.
