My Paintings at Poquoson Public Library May 2014
"Art is a microscope which the artist fixes on the secrets of his soul, and shows to people these secrets which are common to all."
~Leo Tolstoy~
I am grateful once again for the chance to have my paintings displayed at the Poquoson Public Library for the month of May as the 'Artist of the Month.' It is a very nourishing, humbling and exciting time for me. If you are in this neck of the woods, please do stop by the library!

Congratulations Meera, such a well-deserved honor. That's awesome!
Thank you, Carol! I am grateful for the opportunity :)
Exciting to see all your works together Meera, I wish I was there to make a visit.. congratulations!
It looks like a great show.
Congratulations on your exhibit. It looks fantastic in the photo... I can only imagine how awesome it would be in person. To see several pieces of an artist's current works all displayed together gives the viewer a really powerful sense of the personality of the artist, and it takes a lot of courage to open yourself up to that kind of perusal from strangers. But at the same time, it's incredibly gratifying to share your creations with people like this. I would have liked to see the exhibit very much!
Padmaja, thanks you! I Appreciate your thought :)
Kathy, Do travel the tunnel to this side of the water and come see great art at the Charles Taylor Art Center and PFAC as well :)
Katherine, thank you very much! I feel so grateful to be given a chance to display my paintings thus. It has been a fun experience.
